In 2015, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a set of goals to be achieved by 2030 such as ending poverty, inequality, and injustice as well as promoting climate action.
The SDGs consist of 17 goals and 169 detailed targets to build a sustainable society. They serve as international goals for all countries and regions, including both emerging and developed ones, to achieve in 15 years from 2016 to 2030.

As a leading total hair solution company, the Aderans Group has addressed various hair problems since its foundation. In order to bring smiles to people suffering from hair challenges all over the world, we promote various efforts, including the development of innovative artificial hair and medical wigs, collaboration with partner companies, and research through industry-academia collaboration, to offer solutions using hair to help address health issues.

We have approximately 7,000 employees expanding our global activities in 20 countries and regions, mainly through about 500 salons and shops in Japan as well as 300 overseas locations. We aim to enable employees with diverse values and ideas, regardless of their nationality, gender, or any other backgrounds, to keep creating new value by fully demonstrating their uniqueness and abilities. We also promote coexistence with the local community through each local site.

Looking Ahead
Having completed the process of linking our activities to each SDG, we are currently defining our commitment to the SDGs so that the Aderans Group can achieve both its business growth and the sustainable society the SDGs aim for.
We will set goals toward 2030 to help achieve the SDGs and promote initiatives to create new business opportunities, aiming to help solve problems for our future society and drive our business forward by leveraging our unique strengths.
